ROLE PURPOSE
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing outsourced and internal IT services across a large, geographically distributed hotel network. This includes managing technology vendors, coordinating projects, supporting hotel openings, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and contributing to the long-term digital strategy of the organization.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Vendor and Service Management
- Manage and oversee external IT service providers delivering operational support to hotels.
- Track and evaluate SLA performance and service KPIs, ensure of appropriate invoicing/payment
- Ensure alignment of vendor deliverables with company standards and expectations with full governance
- Participate in reviews, audits, and procurement processes.
- Support contract negotiations and vendor selection.
- Conduct technical assessments of third‑party integrations (PMS, POS, Check‑in kiosks, payment systems, IPTV, key-card systems) to ensure compatibility and security.
Support for Hotels lifecycles
- Openings/disposals'
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology.
- Ensure project execution (risk, quality, scope, timeline) , Coordinate vendors responsible for deploying infrastructure, systems, and integrations.
- Support arbitration to define oportunity to define projects to be deliverd
Hotel Technology Strategy and Innovation
- deep knowledge on hotel technology tools (PMS, POS, GRMS, GMS, etc)
- Recommend and evaluate new solutions, tools, and vendors to improve hotel performance.
- Provide technology insights to executive management.
- Contribute to modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Additioanl skills:
- Financial and Budget Oversight: knowing tririga is required
- Compliance and Security Oversight
- Cost optimisation
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or IT service coordination.
- Experience working in an outsourcing-based model.
- Vendor management
- Background in hospitality, retail, or multi-site organizations is an advantage.
- Proven record of managing complex IT projects.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of enterprise IT environments and cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of PMS/POS /GRMS and BMS systems (hospitality preferred) is a must.
- Understanding of GDPR and security standards (PCI DSS is a plus).
- Network/firewall management on master level
- tririga is required (oportunities, funding requests, programs, approval schema, reporting, access rights - master skils are aplus)
